Fomo Thai

In Melbourne we have such a huge selection of choices with food, you name..we probably have it. We have extremes of both absolutely mind blowing to you know you will get food poisoned. When our Thai friend suggests a place we know it will be great. Fomo Thai is amazing, I read some of the reviews says customer service was terrible and for us that was not the case. Maybe because our friend spoke Thai?

From the outside it looks like a small place but it had a floor above is full of tables. When we got there is was quiet, but by the time we left it was busy.

The most popular item was the Crispy Pork Belly

The Crispy Pork Belly came with three sauces, Sweet Chili, Oyster sauce and I have no idea :), but the pork was so crunchy but not dry. All the flavours and textures makes me want to go back again.
The second dish was a Deep fried green papaya salad with spicy tangy dressing

The Papaya was so fresh, Thai food really has such an array of flavours that can be light and delicate to heavy and creamy.
The third dish was the Red Duck Curry

The duck was perfect. Not dry at all, it was not a heavy curry like some other places but light, sweet and spicy. 

We had the Grilled skewered pork balls; it was something completely different to what I have had before. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Full of spices.

I have no idea what the deserts are, but a great way to top of a fantastic meal.
It was worth going here.
We will be back.
